The exhibition begins on January 8, It features about 50 watercolour paintings of well known Delhi-based surrealist painter Koya N.K.P. Muthu, Sadhu Aliyur from Kozhikode. It was inaugurated by Kottayam based water colourist Sunil Linus De. Artist B.D. Dethan organises the exhibition.

He says, “The realistic paintings will be mostly about nature and associated trappings.”

Watercolour paintings is relatively tough to handle and since it is gradually getting vanished in India gave me a thought of choosing a watercolour exhibition says Sadhu, a former art instructor at Brushman’s School of Arts, Kannur.

The exhibition is on till January 20 at Suryakanthi Art Gallery, Sasthamangalam. Timing: 11 am to 6 pm
