Are you a frequent traveller to hi tech city? Then its a surprise to see this bustling area getting transformed into a colourful space with arts, paintings, and murals on the flyovers and pillars to induce a fresh life into this IT zone.

The initiative of creating an artspace in the busy city highlighting the Theme of women Empowerment commenced on the Global Enterpreneurship Summit {GES} in November.

Swathi and Vijay, a street artist couple along with a French artist Delphine Delas are the initiators of this project. They also take the support of 10 to 15 junior artists to help them finish the project . They contributed their designs and sketches that transformed the pillar and walls of the flyover into a theme based space portraying women empowerment. Kalakriti Art Gallery and Art@Telangana are the sponsorers for this.

This project was started on 10 November, 2017.  Swathi proudly highlights their art space. she mentions on the portrayal of the challenges faced by a women in building a career by incorporating a traditional style of  the deccan miniatures to bring out its own nature .Also  have painted the pillars and walls with intricate points explaining the highlights of women empowerment.

Apart from paintings, they have  also tried to incorporate a thoughtful creation, connecting women  themselves to it. It is a painting of women on a pillar with one wing on one side and a saying: ‘What is it that is equal to a wing or that which supports one like a wing and helps you go forward in the career’which is  the highlight of the project.

Swathi & Vijay have a 10 years experience in street art and they proudly feel that street art is more intense than the gallery art as it was a  challenging task for their team to work in pollution and traffic during busy hours. This project in the city has created an interest among frequent travellers, who can realax after their heavy work hours  which is the real success of the project.
