In the world we live in, people are very concerned about themselves and their growth. “It is so rare to find selfless people” is a common statement made by most of us. Is it that we don’t know a group of thousands who are selfless? or Did we fail to acknowledge them? Yes, we have failed to acknowledge them, they are our “TEACHERS”. The Pillars of Support behind every recognized “Heroes” in our world. When we talk so much about the achievement of one person, why haven’t we spent time on analyzing the driving force behind them. “Teaching is a noble profession but the recognition a teacher gets is very meagre”. They are the ones who play multiple roles in your life. A few are Mothers, A few are Friends, A few are Motivators and many more for their students. They do have a family of their own to care for but never have they kept them at the higher priority and put their students next. They know how to handle theirs, as well as consider others to be theirs too! Such people do need the highest amount of respect and there is also a special day dedicated to them to honor their efforts which is the “Teachers Day”. Not that we should honor them only on that day but, do it if you have forgotten.

Our Teachers have not worked with any expectations from us but they are the ones who feel happy and proud if you achieve something great. They have never feared to face anything just for their students. Teachers are always taken for granted these days. Teachers help students to find important things they’ve lost every day. Sometimes it is a paper, backpack or lunch boxes… other times it is courage, confidence, or a smile. Life and Time are the two best teachers but a Teacher is the one who teaches us about both.

Have you ever taught about how would be to live in a world without Teachers? If not, I would like to share my opinion

  • Without the Teachers there are no other professions.
  • The art of teaching would never be known
  • There would be no questions and answers.
  • Talents might go unidentified
  • No Teachers No class
  • No instructions. No instructions, learning would cease.
  • The key part of life (i.e.) Schooling may be lost.
  • No more “Honorable mentions” which many of us like.
  • In this busy life, there will not be a person to listen to the child’s trials and tribulations.
  • No one to love their students like their own
  • There will no body to work hard even though their work goes unappreciated.

Without Teachers the world indeed would be sad place.

Let’s understand their worth and learn to appreciate them not with materialistic things but with our love and gratitude.

If you haven’t done it earlier, it is not late. Do it right away. They don’t need an appreciation day but an appreciation year.

                                                                       Happy Teachers Day
