  • Light packing is  the foremost when travelling with kids. Avoid overpacking. Prepare a list in the order of priority, depending on their importance. Make the child understand to carry their own packs which will increase their responsibility and excitement.
  • Pack their baggage with favourite things like toys, crayons, etc., along with their change of clothes. These things would help us in making them handle in a place where they are seated.
  • For travel in flights give the small kids some candies for the ear blocks to clear. For grown up children provide them with their favourite snacks. These will make both the parents and the kids to enjoy and be destressed.
  • During long hours of journey they can be energised by surprise gifts on spot or be engaged in mobile phone games for limited hours without affecting them much. They can also be made to read their favourite books.
  • Also carry their favourite healthy snacks, juices or chocolates which will calm any toddler or infants.
  • Elder children can be engaged in taking photographs. They can be suggested to write about their trip which will keep them busy.
  • All this will keep them away from disappointment to have a pleasure in travel.

Travelling with children is undoubtedly a challenge for parents even though the children are well mannered.
