The Hardest Sport in the World

Sports. What are Sports? They can be any physical activity or game that we partake in order to get healthy, have fun, etc. Now, I have a different question. What is the hardest sport in the world? Some might say, football due to the running involved in it, basketball due to the high amount of jumping (which kind of sounds like a very weird reason). However, I think the hardest sport is quizzing. For those of you that don’t know what quizzing is, it means to ask a person or group a specified number of questions with perks such as points, etc. The reason I have chosen quizzing as the hardest sport is because of a very simple reason. Whenever we think of the hardest sports like basketball and football, we consider it from a physical point of view. We don’t think of sports that utilise our mental ability and capacity, like quizzing.

Quizzing in India is extremely popular nowadays with Chennai, Bangalore, Delhi and Bombay being the hubs of quizzing. From one of the least popular, visited and seen sports in the world to one of the most popular and fun sports now, it has come a long way. With the advent of various quizzing competitions such as the World Quizzing Championships and even Kaun Banega Crorepati, it has surely burst into the limelight. Even though most people consider quiizing to be a tough activity, it is quite fun, knowledgeable and interesting too! Nowadays, more children and youngsters have started taking up quizzing as a hobby and most of them are pursuing it as a profession too, with the surge in companies that sponsor and set questions for quizzing events. Unlike other sports and activities, there is no barrier when it comes to quizzing. Old people and young children alike sit in a hall and prey and feed on questions like a mighty old eagle does on a young bird. In fact, to most of the avid quizzers in the country, it has also become a necessity for them to attend various quizzing events across the country and even the world!

Due to the high number of participants and amount of questions flowing through quizzing halls like water through a river, quizzing is a force to be reckoned with and also one to look forward to!
