Lion King is a family friendly weekend movie. Walt Disney Pictures made it suitable for people of all ages. This movie was first released in 1994 in an animated series and then remade as a live action movie in 2019. The Lion King is about the kingdom of the rightful King, Mufasa and his heir Simba. Simba idolizes his father and takes to heart his own royal destiny on the plains of Africa. Not everyone in the kingdom celebrates the arrival of the new cub. Scar, Mufasa’s brother and the former heir to the throne had made his own plans. The battle of Pride Rock is soon filled with betrayal, tragedy and drama, ultimately resulting in Simba’s exile. With help from a curious pair of new found friends, Timon and Pumba, Simba figures out how to take back what is rightfully his. This movie is the extraordinary work of Jon Favreau, Director, and his team. I would definitely recommend this movie for anyone looking for a good watch.
