Top 10 Points Harry Potter Film Makers Left

Number 10 - Small Gears for safety used for Quidditch - This is not a mistake but it is found in all the scenes where the players playing quidditch fall down. The small gears consist of, padding under their sleeves and knees, a comfy metal seat where they can rest on, metal wires by which they can hang on to the broomsticks and there are also strings for the candles to float on top. These are essential as quidditch is a dangerous game.

Number 9 - Slytherin’s Common room and dormitories (Philosopher’s Stone) - Remember the scene where professor Quirrell comes in running into the great hall and says that there is a troll in the dungeon. Here Dumbledore instructs all the students to go to the common rooms. This might be funny but the thing is that Slytherin’s common room is in the dungeon. So where do they go?

Number 8 - Moaning Myrtle’s Death ( Chamber of secrets ) - We all know that a direct contact with a basilisk kills a person. The victims who saw the basilisk only saw a reflection of the basilisk. Hermione saw it in a mirror, Colin Creavy saw it through the camera, Nearly headless Nick saw it through his own body and Mrs: Noris saw it through the water. Now Moaning Myrtle death does not make any sense as she was wearing glasses so she only saw a reflection of the basilisk.

Number 7-The view of Thestrals (Order of the Phoenix ) - It is said that we can view thestrals only if we have seen death. It is said that Harry could see the Thestrals after seeing the death of Cedric. But in the first movie we can see Harry seeing Professor Quirrell shatter into pieces. So technically he should have been able to see the Thestrals from the Chamber Of Secrets.

Number 6 - Reasonable Restriction Of underage Sorcery is left out (Prisoner of Azkaban) - In the book Harry is said to be doing his homework in the dark holding a lamp with his book “A History of Magic” resting on the pillow. He moved the tip of his eagle-feather quill with a frown and looking carefully for something that would help him write his essay. Whereas in the movie Harry is portrayed to be reading something using the spell “Lumos Maxima”. If you are a person who has read the book and seen the movie then it would strike you that something is fishy. According to a decree in “Reasonable Restriction of Underage Sorcery” this is wrong as Harry is in a muggle house and performing spells is not allowed. This is a serious mistake and should have been avoided.

Number 5 - Dobby’s work was done by Neville (Goblet of Fire and The Order of the Phoenix) - Dobby was supposed to give Harry the gilly weeds and also most importantly find the Room Of Requirement which played an important part. Both of these were carried out by Neville which is technically wrong. Dobby actually works in the Hogwarts kitchen after being freed from the Malfoys. Dobby was literally cut from the movies. So the people who watched the movie believe that Neville was the one who did it.

Number 4 - SPEW (Goblet of fire) The Society for the Promotion of Elfish Welfare was an organisation founded by Hermione Granger. This was for the justice for the ways in which the house elves were treated. She wanted the SPEW to champion the rights of the house elves among the people in the world of magic. Unfortunately this subject was not at all shown in the movie. Even the scenes where Harry, Ron and Hermione went to the Hogwarts kitchen to meet the house elves were ignored. Common people who only watch movies need to know this as it is an integral part of the book. Right?

Number 3- Peter Petigreew ‘s Death - During the First Wizarding War, Peter was a member of the Order of the Phoenix, but became a spy when he was forced into joining Lord Voldemort. He was made Secret-Keeper for the Potters when they went into hiding with the use of the Fidelius Charm, and betrayed James, his wife Lily, and their son Harry to Lord Voldemort. After Voldemort's fall, he faked his own death and framed Sirius for betraying James and Lily, as well as for his own murder and those of the twelve Muggles he killed during his escape. Peter spent twelve years living in his Animagus form as the Weasley family's pet rat, Scabbers. However, his identity was exposed by Sirius and Remus in The Prisinor of Askaban. The death of Pettigrew was very important but I do not know why it was not shown in the Movie?

Number 2 - In Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone Hermione is shown to be using spells. Harry using spells was not it all shown in the movie. Hermione gets to be the champion finding out the devil's snare and doing spells correctly. Harry is calm when he wants to find anything about Voldemort and other things. It is shown that he is a champion with leadership qualities but he is not shown using any spells and the movie portrays  Hermione as the leader and the smart one, which is wrong.

Number 1 - The conversation in the Dursleys house(Half Blood Prince) - Have you read the Half Blood Prince book? Do you remember the scene where Dumbledore walks into the number 4 Privet Drive and does some spells and then they go to meet professor Slughorn. I know people who have seen the movie are thinking that Professor.Slughorn was shown Yes but what about all the things that happened before it. Dumbledore saw the Dursley’s when Harry was given to them after so many years he is seeing them back. There are so many details that was given. Nothing was shown. Why??

Even though the movies had quite a few details in it, it does not convey the essence of the book but kudos to all the directors in transforming the extraordinary series into movies.
