An elegant dance performance by MADHUVANTHI MULIYA, daughter and disciple of Guru. VANISHREE RAVISHANKAR .of NATYA SAMARPANAM CHENNAI. She performed in Besant Nagar Ganesha temple on December 9th which is considered to be a sacred sanctity venue for many dancers.
Vanisree is the top student of the eminent Guru. SMT. SAVITHRI JAGANNATHA RAO a disciple From Kalakshetra Rukmini Atthai.
MADHUVANTHI started the performance with a patanjali kauthuvam in NATTAI , choreographed by  Guru. Savithri Jagannatha Rao.
A jathishwaram in VACHASPATHI also choreographed by Smt. Savithri  was presented gracefully followed by the main piece varnam in KAMAS, MATHE MALAYADHWAJA a hymn which depicted Madurai meenakshi in all forms... the dancer 's expression for this varnam along with the Jathis by her mom in nattuvangam was impeccable. 
A padham in SURUTTI was the next piece followed by a very expressive dance movement for the song KRISHNA NEE BEGANE in yamunakalyani.
The concluding thillana in Ranjani was brisk and with cheerful expressions.
Madhuvanthi is an engineering student and was poised throughout.

The accompanying artists were Sri.G.Srikanth on the vocal, Sri.  R.Karthikeyan  on Mridangam and sri. Rijesh Gopalakrishnan on the violin.

The Chief Guest of the day Smt. Savithri was honoured by the guru Smt. Vanishree.

Savithri madam appreciated the artist and her guru for their commendable performance.

Also she mentioned that the student has been trained with dedication particularly mentioning on  the two songs ,Varnam and Krishna nee begane which are usually performed to a very great level only by senior dancers. she also mentioned that the legacy of the kalakshtra doyen Rukmani Atthai's was very well observed in the performance.
