It was a graceful and elegant dance performance by Kum. Sampoorna venkatesh disciple of Guru Smt. Bhagyashree satheesh of Om Nrityakshethra on DECEMBER 28th for VIPANCHEE dance festival today evening at R.K. Swamy Auditorium..as a part of their December Art Festival.
The Performance started with a Ganesha vritham with a swarajathi in kamas...composed by Dr. Padma subramanyam ,Guru of  Smt.Bhagyasree sathish. Followed by this a varnam on Goddess Madurai Meenakshi in ragas Hindholam and Hamsanadham with the lyrics of Kavi kannan was depicted beautifully by her. The varnam had the complete story of Goddess Meenakshi of her childhood untill her marraige with Lord Shiva as Sundareswarar. 
The  next piece was the popular composition of Dr. Balamuralikrishna in his own ragam Lavangi , the song Omkara....sampoorna gave an extraordinary expression and movements for this piece which enthralled the audience. This was followed by a Thillana in Ghambeera Vani a composition by sri.T.K. Govindha Rao..
