Hello everyone , today I am going to review an interesting suspense story from the world famous Detective Sherlock Holmes collection with you.

As you all might have heard ,Sherlock Holmes is an intelligent dectetive who cracks mysteries with his pal Dr. Watson.

This awesome series is written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

My favourite mystery is The Red Headed League. In this story , an old retired red headed man named William comes to Holmes with a complaint that he was tricked by the Red Headed League.

William's assistant informed William about a competition called Red Headed League.

Only red headed people were allowed to participate in it.

The task was to report to their office and write a lesson of encyclopedia each day and a hefty amount was promised as payment for the same. William decided to give it a try for some extra money.

But the rule binding them was that, once they report, nobody should leave their office between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm !

William followed all the rules and reported everyday.

But one day, when he reached the office, there was no office at all!

The competition was closed without informing anything to anyone ! On enquiring around, nobody was even aware of any such league. He found this strange and decided to get to the root of the mystery.

Soon William found someone was pranking him. Who was it? What was it for?
