Chapter 1

I opened my eyes and blinked. The surroundings were not clear. I saw clearly after a few seconds. I was not on my bed... I was sleeping on a bed of grass in a forest full of pine trees. And in front of me was a huge chocolate palace. "Where am I?" I said to myself. I looked behind and saw an elf! He had a wide smile! I lay back on the soft grass. He was wearing a fine red suit with black polka dots. "Hi Mark," he asked in a weird, funny voice. "Ho... ho... how do... do... do you know my... my... NAME!" I said as I stammered. He did not answer. But something terrible happened. The clouds got dark. A hand made out of black smoke appeared from the sky. It captured me. And I screamed, "WHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
