Change the way you see your country & see the change in your country – this purposeful & soulful thought is beautifully woven into the minds & hearts of the audience through Alchemy Theatres play DRISHTI – My Country, My Mother, since 2007. The play has been scripted & directed by Mr. Vijay Viswanathan (Playwright & Theatre Professional)
Dr. APJ. Abdul Kalam’s Wings of Fire followed by his speech at the Hyderabad University ignited our minds to embark on this wonderful journey of DRISHTI.
Drishti takes a look at the culture and heritage of India and in turn guides the audience to look at their country as their motherland……as their MOTHER. This colourful patriotic play tells its story from 3 different perspectives and is rich in music and folk dances.
DRISHTI is a well packaged play for audiences of all age bands. It has been a soul satisfying experience trying to reach audiences and present to them the real perspective of our motherland and also sensitize them on their duties towards her.
DRISHTI through its previous staging’s has received accolades from many greats like Dr. APJ. Abdul Kalam, Padmabhushan Smt & Shri. Dhananjayan, Dr. J. Radhakrishnan (IAS), Sriram Parasuram & Anuradha Sriram, Crazy Mohan, S. P. Muthuraman (Film Director) and many more.
