Ikabena

Once upon a time, there was an island named Ikebana. This island was magical and was ruled by King Christopher who had 6 sons. The princes always fought with each other. They were greedy and wanted the kingdom for themselves. The names of the Princes were Alaric, Alistair, Cosmo, Lars, Evander and Leander.

Their world was beautiful and different, but like every normal kingdom, this kingdom also had rules. So the eldest Prince was decided to be crowned the King. When the other Princes came to know this, they were furious and disturbed the coronation ceremony. They argued and argued. The King was afraid, because if the Princes fought, a civil war would break out. So he split the country into 6 divisions and gave one division to each of his sons. Alaric was given the Kingdom of Quintis, Alistair was given the Kingdom of Embris, Cosmo was given Amaris, Lars ruled over Aglecia, Evander ruled Pendilora and Leader was to rule Tethoris. Even though they all got equal parts of the kingdom, they were not satisfied. They wanted to rule the entire country.

After the king died they planned secretly to attack the other neighbouring Kingdoms. So on the day of the Ikabena festival, which was celebrated to bring about the peace and harmony in the kingdom, the Kings went there with a plan that they would become the dictator of IKABENA and they attacked all the other Kings who came to the festival. There was bloodshed and after some time no one was left except the 6 Kings. The moment the civil war stopped everything vanished, the beautiful Ikabena became a desert. Then they understood the secret of Ikabena: it was unity.

It was the unity that was keeping Ikabena alive. So they used the magic they learnt while they were young to create a diamond that would get back the peace and harmony of the kingdom. Then everyone came to life. After many years of peaceful rule, the Kings had children - Alaric had Ender, Alistair had Emory, Cosmo had Miklause, Evander had Samson, Leander had 2 children, Leopold and Caspian. Lars was the only one who had a girl child. Her name was Amethyst. All the sons protected their father's kingdom. Since Lars had a girl, people did not allow her to take over Anglecia so Leander's 2nd son Caspian ruled Lars's kingdom. Lars and Amethyst stayed with Caspian. One day Caspian decided to release wizard Zagastus who was imprisoned. Zagustus wanted revenge. He wanted to make all the members of the royal family his slaves and take over the kingdom. Zagastus pretended that he had reformed and earned the trust to become Caspian's advisor. He started feeding bad information about the others to Caspian to turn him against the others, but it was in vain. Then he learnt about the diamond and went in search of it.

After many difficulties and hurdles, he finally got hold of the diamond. He enchanted it with his magic and he happily went back to start feeding bad information about the others. And now since the diamond was malfunctioning, Caspian believed him. He called for war. The others did not want to fight with their brother but they had no choice. The war went on for days. One day Amethyst heard Zaugastus talking to himself. Then she came to know about the diamond and what Zaugastus had done to it. One night she went inside the secret room that Zaugastus had asked everyone not to enter and there she found the diamond. When she took the diamond and was about to leave the room, she came face to face with Zagastus. Zagastus was furious and they both duelled almost till midnight. Lars heard all this commotion and when he came and saw, he was shocked to find Amethyst and Zaugastus duelling.

Amethyst explained while duelling "Father he is a traitor. He had taken the diamond and corrupted it. That's why the civil war has taken place. He wants to take over Ikabena. He was always a mystery to me." Lars was furious. He joined the duel and they finally defeated Zaugastus. Then Lars went to the battlefield and explained to Caspian about Zaugastus's betrayal. Caspian was furious. He apologised for starting the war and everyone forgave him. Then Caspian and the others went back to Aglecia to decide Zaugastus's punishment. Caspian was so furious that he ordered Zaugastus to be hanged. He turned to Amethyst and said " You have saved our dynasty. We all have decided that you are fit to rule the country. We plan to be in the Ikebana army and Ikebana will not be split anymore. Ikebana will be ruled under Queen Amethyst." Everyone thought it was a good idea. Amethyst was crowned as the Queen of Ikabena. She turned the diamond positive again and everyone lived happily after that.
