It has always amused me how they bring stories to life. The fact that it was written on a piece of paper, and when those characters come to life in front of you, is something amazing. I must say the art of creating and bringing something to life is a magnificent task, as it takes a lot of creative guts and a huge amount of responsibility because you, as the creator, would be portraying what you have envisioned to an audience out there. Being perfect to the tee is just the tip of the iceberg, but bringing out those wonderfully written characters is what is more important. Sticking to the storyline and not deviating from it is as important as waking up and brushing your teeth.

Being a director is like being the captain of the ship, "Aye Aye Captain." You should definitely know what the plan of action is, and if you are a very efficient captain, then your whole team should be empowered to do their designated roles in the order of action laid down by you without even needing to follow up. This brings out the best in each of your team members and, in turn, brings out the best for the product too. Mess-ups happen everywhere, and no one willingly comes to have a bad day. So, when things don't go your way, you as the captain should be very patient and have the mental strength to handle the pressure coming your way. Captains should know when to pull the string and when to leave the steering to the team.

Stories have been an integral part of our day-to-day living. They've played a major role from our childhood to who we are today. The stories that our parents used to tell us, the stories our teachers used to tell us, and the stories that we used to tell our friends, knowingly or unknowingly. Without stories, we are not who we are today, and one day, we will be a story that is told to the world!

Bringing out the best in stories written by someone else is great, but becoming an exemplary story one day that the world will talk about is something amazing.
