Once upon a time there lived a girl called Lilly.

It was her birthday.

She was very excited because her parents were going to buy her a pet from a pet shop, there were tons of dogs, birds, turtles, chicks, rabbits but Lilly wanted none of them.

She kept walking and soon ahead she saw something and liked it very much, it was a kitten!

She made up her mind that the kitten was her pet.it was very soft and cute. it had pink fur.

Then she went to a store nearby and bought everything the kitten needed.

Both Lilly and the kitten started liking each other so much that in 5 months they became best friends.

One day Lilly’s friend told her that she is going out for vacation and asked her if she could take care of her pet for 1 month, Lilly agreed.

The other pet was so cute that Lilly spent more time with the other kitty and forgot about her own kitty. Lilly’s kitty was so jealous about the other kitty. One day she saw Lilly brushing the other kitty’s fur and remembered when Lilly had brushed hers. So in disappointment the kitty ran away. While Lilly was brushing the other kitty’s fur, she noticed that her kitten was missing. She ran hither and thither but she couldn’t find it anywhere.

2 days had passed. Lilly was so sad and was missing her kitty so much that she was feeling disturbed all the time. She decided to go to the park and get some fresh air.

At the park she sat on the swing and started swinging it. She suddenly stopped. She heard meowing somewhere. She started walking in the direction of the slide and there she found the kitten!.

She was so happy and glad.

But when she saw the sad look on the kitty’s face, she understood what happened. Then she said in a kind voice ‘’ my friend’s kitten will be in my heart for only 1month but you will always be in my heart. But why did you run away. I was so worried. Don’t be afraid. I will always be with you. I will never leave you. You are my best friend ‘’ saying this she gave the kitten a big and lovely hug.
