The Mousetrap is a play written by Agatha Christie and it is the longest running play in the world. This is a spoiler-free review of that play. It is 2 hours long. Like most of Agatha Christie's other works, it is a murder mystery. Throughout the entire duration of the play, I had goosebumps all over my body. One unique thing I found fascinating about it was the set. The whole play takes place in a beautiful English house. It looked very realistic and I was amazed to see how it was all only a set. The actors in the play played their parts brilliantly and very professionally. The dialogues were delivered quite clearly. With every twist and turn in the story, my stomach lurched with nervousness. The script was beautifully balanced with humour and suspense. The plot clearly connected with the slogan attached to the play: SUSPECT EVERYONE, as I could never have predicted who the killer was. Overall, it was a brilliant play, and is definitely a must watch.
